Our Vision for Small Nations & Developing Federations

Our team also consists of members from a number of small or lesser developed nations in Europe!

We believe in the true meaning of ‘Gens Unu Sumus’, and as a family we believe that there should not be discrimination in this family. We should never have a split between ‘Big-small, strong-weak or rich-poor’.

Today, European chess has different federations in different levels. Our Team, will give the highest priority to the development of all chess federations in marketing, technical and financial areas.

Our aim is to succeed in improving the level of chess in all the above areas in small and less developed federations in Europe.

Our Road map for this is as follows:

• Providing special conditions, as part of the tournament regulations, so that small or lesser developed nations, can participate in European  individual and team Championhips;

• Allocation of annual funds for initiatives such as the European Small Nations Team Tournament

• Assisting  the management of small or lesser developed chess federations to initiate youth development programs, chess in schools, financial and marketing programs;

• Visiting all these nations on a continuous basis and talking with their Government together to get more support;

• Creating special medals in all european events to these nations in their respective category;

• Organising regional camps for those federations for trainers, arbiters, and young talents;
